Job Description
  • Responsible for ensuring requirements as will defined for purchase in terms of specifications, quantities & acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure suppliers are pre-qualified for the requirement.
  • Monitor & prepare a list of approved vendors, advice on long lead items.
  • Coordinate with top management tp ensure quantities are within the budget.
  • Assist in inventory control & monitor price escalations, follow-up for delivery within the required time, take corrective punitive actions as necessary.
  • Monitor costs of all purchases and prepare reports with details as required by management.
  • Ensure payments are made as per terms & conditions.
  • Maintains an updated supplier list that consists of reliable & trustworthy sources.

  • Conducting/Co-ordinating with Consultants for Traffic Surveys.
  • Preparation of Rate Analysis & Financial Bid.
  • Follow up with clients for the RFQs/RFPs submitted and attending the queries.
  • Getting updated Experience Certificates for all ongoing projects & Completion Certificates for all completed projects.
  • Searching website, newspapers, corresondence, liaison, Attending registration/Reneweals with various states/Department.

  • To implement and ensure maintenance of quality management systems for Projects

  • To check the quality of all the materials (cement, steel, tiles, sand, etc) received on site and prepare quality reports, defects, if any.
  • To check the stacking and storage of materials in various godowns and stores of the site with neatness.
  • To check and keep control on the wastage of material at site.
  • To check completed projects / building which are ready for possession.
  • To coordinate areas of QC work with other departments work i.e. civil engineering process, etc.
  • To coordinate testing of materials wherever applicable and ensure specified quality standards are adhered to.
  • To coordinate with different contractors, agencies to maintain and improve quality of construction work.
  • To prepare MIS on monthly basis, monthly consumption reports, daily progress report, etc.
