Environmental Objectives

Tempus holds the ISO 14001-2000 certificate for environmental management.

Environmental targets and objectives are set for our businesses that are checked by regular management and supervisory actions together with independent internal and third party audits/surveillances.

We believe and promote that all our directly employed personnel together with any specialist sub-contractors and suppliers are responsible for the adherence to environmental targets, objectives and management programmes.

Our people will receive the appropriate levels of training and awareness to ensure that due emphasis is placed on the protection of the Environment and site care/cleanliness.

Recycling and re-use of materials will be carried out where possible and where not, due care will be exercised in respect of waste disposal in accordance with current guidelines and legislation.

This Policy is communicated and made available to all company personnel, supply chain, members of the public and other interested third parties.

Safety Objectives

Tempus holds the OSHA 18001-2004 certificate for occupational health and safety management. Effective management of worker safety and health protection is a decisive factor in reducing the extent and severity of work-related injuries and illnesses and related costs. In 1982, OSHA began to approve worksites with exemplary safety and health management programs for participation in Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP).

Tempus believe in the below six point rule where Management and Employees share the safety objectives.

2. Weekly tool box safety meetings at all jobsites with engineers and supervisors.

3. Effective job safety training for all categories of employees.

4. Job hazard analysis provided to all employees.

5. Audio and Visual presentations given at jobsites by responsible persons.
